There is a widespread misconception that the art of theatre can be discussed solely in terms of the intellectual content of the script. Theatre is not essentially a literary art, though it has been so taught in some universities and schools https://voltage-bet.io/hockey/. For many years the works of the Greek dramatists, Shakespeare, and other significant writers such as Friedrich von Schiller were more likely to be studied than performed in their entirety. The literary side of a theatrical production works most effectively when it is subordinated to the histrionic. The strongest impact on the audience is made by acting, singing, and dancing, followed by spectacle—the background against which those activities take place. Later, on reflection, the spectator may find that the meaning of the text has made the more enduring impression, but more often the literary merit of the script, or its “message,” is a comparatively minor element.
Zoffany was one of a plethora of foreigners who flocked to London in the 18th century. Three others — all of them important figures from Italy — are connected to a second canvas (below) being offered in the same sale.
This was a golden age for theatre in Britain, one in which it became a truly popular form of entertainment. Although they sat in different parts of the auditorium, people of all classes attended, from workmen to monarchs. (The British royal family, unlike many of their European counterparts, had no private theatre, meaning King George III and Queen Charlotte had to attend public performances to indulge their love of drama.)

In an innovative move, the works are ordered according to how long after the event they were created from moments, days and weeks to decades later. Photographs taken seven months after the fire bombing of Dresden are shown alongside those taken seven months after the end of the First Gulf War. Images made in Vietnam 25 years after the fall of Saigon are shown alongside those made in Nakasaki 25 years after the atomic bomb. The result is the chance to make never-before-made connections while viewing the legacy of war as artists and photographers have captured it in retrospect…
“In 1992 I was commissioned to make work by the Neue galerie in Graz, Austria and the theme was war or “krieg” as it is in German. Graz is on the border with Yugoslavia and there was war in Yugoslavia at the time. I think they were hoping that I would make something to do with the war that was taking place between Croatia and Serbia and Bosnia. I did go to the war; you went to Zagreb and got a UN pass and went in to the war zone. It was very interesting to be taken into the war zone but ultimately I got back to England and I decided – to the annoyance of the gallery – that I was thinking about Austria instead. At the time, the president of Austria, Kurt Waldheim, had been exposed as a member of the SS and had been informing Yugoslavia during the war and the Austrians were very unconcerned about this. I thought I’d much prefer to make work that had the Austrians confronting their Nazi past rather than about the current conflict. I knew about the prison in Barry Island in South Wales where the SS were held before they were sent to Nuremberg for the trial and I started taking a series of photographs in the prison. It was lucky that I did because it was demolished the following year by the MOD. It’s gone now. When I got there, I saw the prisoners had been drawing on the walls. They’re mossy and crumbling but you can see Germanic lettering and Bavarian landscapes and women with 1940s haircuts. They are evocative and powerful given the emotive history. ”

Moreover, the cadence of ART teams is synchronized across all teams on the train. This makes it easy to execute larger initiatives that smaller agile teams would likely have a hard time coordinating. This is where ART teams are much different than regular agile teams — they can tackle complex, multifaceted projects with quicker.
PI planning is a two-day face-to-face or remote event held at the beginning of each program increment (PI) involving all ART members and key stakeholders. Teams align on objectives, plan work, and identify dependencies before committing to a final PI plan.
A bi-weekly system increment is basically a fancy way of saying that the ART team will deliver value, whether as an MVP or as a fully-fledged feature, to the product at the end of every sprint (every two weeks).
While the Agile Release Train brings many benefits, implementing it can also present challenges. These can include resistance to change, difficulty in aligning teams, and challenges in scaling Agile practices. However, with the right approach, these challenges can be overcome.

Nostalgia has a unique approach to connecting people across different generations. While Gen Z kids may have no clue about old-school 70s art trends, today’s retro design emerged in the late 1950s and brings together both Gen Z and Millennials to embrace the retro theme.
The retro design also goes by the name “modern retro”, which excels at giving the viewer a feeling of nostalgia. More specifically, it tends to focus on designs from the eras of the 60s and 70s, though there are “niche” genres of retro design that are stirred by other decades, from the 20s (art deco) to the 90s (blues, pinks, mint greens, and blocky shapes in arrangements that are best described as “unconventionally attractive”).
Art Deco is famous for using polished, mirrored, or golden metallic textures paired with black or silver. The primary effect of retro design tends to be almost overwhelming in terms of shine and sheen. Which is why, it looks very smooth and slick, as though the design was a floor that you could slide down on your socks.Other decades of retro design may have a very different feel, however.
When it comes to retro design, there is a variety of elements to consider. This also depends on what you’re working on and the elements available, whether you design an email newsletter, blog, or any other form factor. And when you have the right elements in the right order, taking your audience down memory lane (through retro design) can go smoother.
